Bath Rugby travel to Sandy Park on Saturday to face Exeter Chiefs and will be looking for a league double over the league leaders (kick-off 14:30).
Exeter Chiefs were defeated 34-30 at Harlequins last Saturday but have not lost back-to-back fixtures in Gallagher Premiership Rugby since February 2018. The Chiefs have lost two of their last three home games in all competitions. Baxter’s men have also been defeated twice at Sandy Park in the Gallagher Premiership this season, by Bristol Bears in Round 4 and Sale Sharks in Round 9.
Bath Rugby’s three game winning run in Gallagher Premiership Rugby ended with a defeat at home to Bristol Bears on Sunday. Bath have won two of their last three away games in Premiership Rugby, being successful on trips to London Irish in Round 6 and Worcester Warriors in Round 10.
Bath’s victory at home to Exeter in Round 2 ended a five-game losing run to The Chiefs in the Premiership, whilst they have not achieved a season’s double over the Devonians since 2013-14. Bath have not won at Sandy Park since October 2016.

Word from the Exeter Chiefs camp
Head Coach Ali Hepher, said: “It’s going to be tough and it’s going to be a tight old battle, just as we found out last week. What we have to make sure is that we are on the money from minute one come Saturday.
“Bath are a very good side and they’ve won a lot of games this year,” he warned. “As always, we expect a tough game, a physical game and they’ll be really confrontational. What we have to do is not only match them in all those areas, but better them.”
