Friday night will see the Blue, Black and White run out for the first pre-season match in four years at the Rec. The team will debut the 2018/19 home kit and in a rare preview, the club are announcing two key players for the starting line-up.
Rhys Priestland
Priestland will go head to head against his old team Scarlets on Friday. The fly half made over 150 appearance for the Welsh side, scoring over 1000 points for the club in his nine years there. Since joining Bath Rugby in 2015, he has been instrumental in many games, most memorably when he slotted six penalties against his former side in the Champions Cup last year at Parc y Scarlets giving bath a 18-13 victory.
Semesa Rokoduguni
Roko is back at The Rec, the fan favourite will start out on the right wing and will be hoping to get Bath's campaign off to a great start as he did last year in the first home game of the season against Saracens, scoring two late tries and guiding the Bath side to a memorable 31-21 victory over the current champions.
