Olly Barkley and Robbie Kydd were the try scorers, but Head Coach John Connolly praised the collective composure from his side when on the racks early in the first half and late in the second.
"It is a good win for us," explained Connolly. "We played some solid rugby and played some very smart rugby at times. I thought that our composure was also outstanding."
"I also thought that the pack performed extremely well against a very physical Gloucester side."
Commenting on the performance of new loan signings Paul Sampson and Wylie Human, who came into the side at the eleventh hour, Connolly said that he was really pleased.
"I thought that Wylie and Paul did phenomenally well considering they have had just one training session with us. Both sparked in attack and I thought that Wylie, in particular, was solid in defence."
