Key moments
- 300+ days of delivery within the community
- 6000+ children engaged throughout the season
- 750 children between U7-U16s have attended one of the Bath Rugby Camps, Skills Clinics or Residentials
- Launch of Move Like a Pro initiative with Thatchers Cider, inspiring office staff to lead more active and healthy lifestyles
Academic Delivery
- Launch of Attacking Maths programme in 10 local Primary Schools
- Development of girls rugby – First girls residential (Warminster School), school programme (Royal High School)
- 38 academic coaching programmes, delivered within Primary and Secondary Schools across Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset
- Worked with 350+ children aged between 7-11 at the schools coaching hub in Bath. Bath Hub is an accessible opportunity for schools and children in the local area of Bath to participate in a variety of sports in the HUB of the city.
- Girls Rugby Showcase at half-time of The Clash, working with girls from our programme at Royal High School in Bath
Rugby Club Delivery
- Record number of teams took part in Dyson 7s tournament (24), including 8 girls teams for the first time!
- Launch of Bath Rugby Community Day, 28 teams taking part across Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Devon
- 800 children had the opportunity to play on the main pitch at The Rec across Dyson 7s, Community Day and half-time TAG tournaments.
- 32 teams attended the Land Rover Cup at Trowbridge RFC, an annual U11s and U12s tournament
- Hosted the Land Rover Tour event at Farleigh House for the first time, with 6 Clubs attending from Wales, Ireland and England
Matchday Experiences
- 3000+ community tickets sold to The Rec throughout the 18/19 season
- Record number of local Rugby Clubs attended The Clash at Twickenham (33 Clubs, 2610 fans)
- 500+ children have taken part in Guard of Honour experiences, the record amount at The Rec
- 1000+ kids involved in Community Experiences at Twickenham, with over 400 of them playing on the pitch ahead of The Clash
