After a very successful year off the field working to raising funds for our 4 nominated charities, Bath Rugby are now looking for new charities to become our Designated Charity Partners for the 2012/13 season.
Each season Bath Rugby raises funds for a number of specific charities and key projects. Last season we worked with The Royal United Hospital's Space for Cancer Care Campaign, Dorothy House Hospice, Children's Hospice South West and the Bath Rugby Foundation. A cheque presentation will be made to each of these charities at the JP Morgan Rugby 7s Series Final taking place at the Rec on Friday 3rd August.
If you would like to be considered to become one of Bath Rugby's designated charities for next season then please send your application to firstname.lastname@example.org or Anna Butler, Bath Rugby, Farleigh House, Bath, BA2 7RW by Friday 29th July.
To apply, you must meet and be able to demonstrate the following criteria:
- Be a registered charity
- Be local / regional or have a significant presence in Bath & Northeast Somerset or Mendip
- Provide detail on a specific project for which you require funding
- Be able to supply a team of up to 10 volunteers to collect at allocated Bath Rugby matches throughout the season
Our own Club charity, The Bath Rugby Foundation, will be co-ordinating match day collections at all home fixtures throughout the 2012/13 campaign and the money raised will be placed in a central fund to be distributed to our nominated charities / projects at the end of the season.
Our designated charities for the 2012/13 season will be announced during August in time for the new season.
