Sam Burgess has been named at 12 for England's Rugby World Cup Pool A game against Wales at Twickenham Stadium this Saturday, joined by Bath Rugby teammate Anthony Watson on the wing.
Club hooker Rob Webber is named on the bench, as is fly-half George Ford. Burgess (Bath Rugby) takes over from Jonathan Joseph in midfield and partners Brad Barritt (Saracens), who moves to outside centre in place of the injured Bath player.
Owen Farrell (Saracens) starts at No 10, while Billy Vunipola (Saracens) comes in at No 8 for Ben Morgan (Gloucester Rugby) who is still struggling with a knee injury.
James Haskell (Wasps) and Alex Goode (Saracens) are both included in the 23 for the first time in RWC 2015, covering back row and back three respectively.
England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster said: "We have a lot of respect for the Wales coaching team and their players, they are a high quality side and I am sure it will some occasion on Saturday evening.
"The support at Twickenham last week was incredible with the crowd really getting behind us and we will need them again this week to lift the players against a tough Wales team."
