Bath Rugby held two rugby camps over the February half-term, with two lucky participants winning the chance to be a mascot at The Clash at Twickenham on Saturday 8th April.
Everyone that booked onto the camps Trowbridge RFC and Oakmeadians RFC were entered into a prize draw with Jacob Pobjoy and William Taylor selected to help lead the Blue, Black and White out against Leicester Tigers next month. Bath Rugby will hold further camps in the Easter half term, with another opportunity to join Jacob and William as mascots for the much anticipated fixture at the Home of English rugby.
The camps were held to give young players the opportunity to develop both technical and tactical aspects of the game, but with a real focus on development regardless of their level. With an impressive turnout at both clubs, those attending got the opportunity to meet first team players Aled Brew and Henry Thomas, who passed on their knowledge and experience of being a professional rugby player.
If you’ve missed out, make sure that you book on to one of Bath Rugby’s Easter holiday camps at Walcot RFC or Swanage and Wareham RFC before Monday 20th March to be in with a chance of being a mascot at Twickenham. Click here to book your place.
