The J.P. Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s Cup took place at Prior Park College, Bath last Saturday and was a morning full of fast-running, thrilling rugby.
After the 7's competition all the teams involved were invited to the Bath Rugby game against London Welsh at the Recreation Ground, watching Bath win 40-25.
Bath Youth Under 14 was the winning 7s team, and on the pitch at half-time in the Aviva Premiership match, players were presented with their individual medals and the Winner's Cup by Bath Rugby centre Ben Williams. As part of their prize Bath Youth Under 14s have also been invited to attend the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series Final at the Rec on Friday 9th August.
Chippenham Under 14 won the Plate competition and joined in the celebrations, being presented with their medals and the Plate by Bath Rugby's wing Jack Cuthbert.
The J.P. Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s Cup is a prestigious 7s festival for under 14s at grassroots clubs, now into its third year, taking place at the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs. The festival gives valuable experience of the 7s game to youngsters, helping in their rugby development and working towards developing the stars of the future.
