Several Bath Rugby players were on international duty over the weekend, most notably at Twickenham on Saturday afternoon.
A winning scoreline of 25-13 allowed England to clinch the Calcutta Cup and leap to number one in the RBS 6 Nations table. Along with Jack Nowell's try, the rest of England's points came via two Bath Rugby players: George Ford (who scored his first international try, as well as two conversions and two penalties) and Jonathan Joseph (his fourthy try of the tournament). Dave Attwood and Anthony Watson both helped steer England to victory at second row and wing respectively.
At Darlington, the Charlie Ewels-led England U20s defeated their Scottish counterparts 26-11 in a topsy-turvy contest in which Rory Jennings kicked 11 crucial points.
At England U18 level, Academy U18 players Darren Atkins, Dan Frost and Zach Mercer featured in the side which beat Scotland 39-27 at Kingston Park. An impressive 10 tries were scored between the sides, including the opening score from Atkins.
Away from England, Academy U18 fly-half Adam Hastings was in action for Scotland U19s against Japan Schools in Edinburgh, beating the tourists with a record score of 66-12.
