Tom de Glanville scored 20 points, as Bath Rugby U18 secured a 41-50 victory over London Irish U18 at Hazelwood.
Irish were quick out of the blocks scoring two tries in the opening 11 minutes through Ben Harris and Will Sinfield. Bath winger Ethan Hutt hit back with a try of his own four minutes later, but another flurry of scores quickly followed from the Exiles. 10-5
Captain Ben Donnell and Reuben Knight gave their side a commanding 22-5 lead with just over 20 minutes on the clock. However, that didn’t deter the visitors, as they finished the first half with three tries in quick succession. 22-5
Miles Gilbert crossed the whitewash for Bath’s second try of the afternoon, to put the Blue, Black and White within 12 points of their counterparts. After slotting the resulting conversion, de Glanville quickly took centre stage with a try of his own, before Gilbert added another try to his tally. 22-24

Bath didn’t look back in the second-half, as flanker Will Hendy notched a quickfire double to put his side firmly in control of the game heading into the final 30 minutes. 22-36
Tom Jeanes added touched down for a seventh try for the Blue, Black and White with just over 20 minutes to play, to further extend Bath’s lead. Two minutes later, de Glanville added his second score of the game, to take his tally to 20 points for the afternoon. 27-50
Philip Cokanasiga and Knight crossed for two consolation tries for the hosts inside the last 15 minutes, but it was Bath that came out on top in a 15-try thriller at Hazelwood. 41-50
