Bath Rugby keep the pressure up on the top four as Hooper's men earned a 40-15 bonus-point victory over Worcester Warriors in Round 19 of the Gallagher Premiership.
The side move back within a point of Wasps in fourth place in Round 19 after scoring six tries to thrash Worcester.
The visitors got off to a brilliant start reaping the rewards from a poor pass as Billy Searle found the line after an interception from 25 metres out. However Bath Rugby pounced straight back as Tom Ellis found the whitewash, the flanker capitalised on field position and crashed, with Josh Matavesi levelling the scores.
Elliott Stooke then added Bath's second to flip the score on its head after 20 minutes as the lock dotted down off the back of the maul. But Worcester were not here to make up the numbers it seemed as from the resulting restart they scored to keep the pressure up through Ed Fidow. The wing capitalised on a knock-on and dived over in the corner.
Bath began to build some momentum and got their prize as Jack Walker found his way over after a strong driving maul from close range and the half way topped off as young Tom de Glanville secured the bonus-point before half-time.
After the break Bath built pressure in the Warriors 22 before Stooke put in a neat fend and scored in the corner before Matavesi added a decisive sixth try after selling a dummy pass, fending off the last man and going in under the posts.
KEY MOMENT
Tom de Glanville's score on 38 minutes secured a much needed bonus-point just before the interval. A neat move from the Blue, Black and White led to the ball coming out wide and the young full-back pounced over to score his third try in Bath Rugby colours.
