Bath Rugby name Sevens squad for Kingsholm

29 July 2014

A promising young Bath Rugby Sevens squad has been named for this Thursday's Premiership Rugby 7s at Kingsholm.

Only two of the 12-man squad didn't feature in Bath United's Aviva A League title-winning run last season, whilst Junior Bulumakau and Ifereimi Vuki have both represented the British Army in the 15-man game and Sevens respectively.

The side will be captained by Chris Cook, the scrum-half who won the Greene King IPA Championship last season while on loan with London Welsh. Four of Bath's newly-announced Senior Academy players are included, along with Tom Woolstencroft, fresh from his Junior World Championship triumph with England U20.

The Kingsholm round of the Premiership Rugby 7s will be shown live on BT Sport, with Bath's fixtures as follows:

19:40 – Bath Rugby v London Irish
20:10 – Bath Rugby v Exeter Chiefs
21:30 – Bath Rugby v Gloucester Rugby
