Bath Rugby are delighted to announce the launch of its first-ever girls residential camp which will take place this summer over a three-day period in August. The camps will take place at Warminster School between Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 August.

The purpose of the residential camps is designed to give young players a chance to experience a week in the life of a professional player. It is open to 13-17-year-olds; these camps will cover group rugby sessions, individual development plans, team building, strength and conditioning, gym safety and technique, recovery, leadership, analysis and nutrition.

Rugby is one of the fastest growing female sports and this rise in participation is one of the most exciting trends in the sports industry. Bath Rugby Community team have worked closely with local girl teams this year, launching several new initiatives and programmes. The success from girls showcase events such as Dyson 7’s and half-time of The Clash highlight the need to start offering opportunities like this to help develop players within our local catchment area.
