An enjoyable day was had last week as the Bath Rugby Golf Society took over the Bath Golf Club. With the reputation of being one of England's oldest and finest inland golf courses we certainly weren't let down by our day as everyone relished if not the challenges of the course then the stunning views!
Huge congratulations have to go to Ruth Morris and Mark Lewis who were the overall champions of the day. However, Ruth and Mark may have come first in their respective competitions but it was Jeannie Willis and John Coates who stole the show. Both golfers came in an overall second place in their respective competitions but Jeannie also managed to stake claim to the Longest Drive for the female golfers and John Coates also won the accolade of Nearest the Pin with his tee shot on the 4th hole. Special mention should also go to Matt Wyatt who won the Longest Drive for the men.
Our next and final golf competition will take place on Friday 2nd November at Manor House Golf Course at Castle Combe. For more details please contact Bath Rugby on 01225 325200.
