After months of training, a team of Bath Rugby Foundation runners braved the weather conditions on Sunday to join thousands running in the Bath Half Marathon.
Halena Coury, Head of Fundraising, said, "The Bath Rugby Foundation team want to thank all their runners yesterday and University of Bath Sports Massage team for a wonderful day. The weather did not deter and our runners started coming in just after 90 minutes. What an achievement! We look forward to seeing more Bath Rugby running tops in the race next year."
Runners taking part on behalf of Bath Rugby Foundation were able to enjoy the 'Bath Half Hub' at the Recreation Ground, which provided them with a warm, dry place not far from the start and finish line where they could get changed both before and after the race, showers, food and refreshment and a much welcomed sports massage.
All monies raised by the Bath Rugby Foundation team will go towards ensuring the charity can continue its work enhancing the lives of children and young people in the local community.
