Bath Rugby would like to thank the 16 players leaving the Blue, Black and White this season for everything they have given to the Club. They have all made their mark in the jersey and wish them every success in their future careers.
We take a look back on their time at Bath Rugby and individual players' highlights are available here.
FORWARDS LEAVING THE CLUB
We say a huge thank you and farewell to Lucas Noguera, Levi Douglas, Sam Nixon, Will Britton, Rhys Davies and Jack Davies – as a group of forwards we have enjoyed seeing them perform at the Rec, around the country and in Europe.
Matt Garvey leaves the Club having spent seven seasons with Bath Rugby, making 136 appearances in that time and scoring eight tries. Garvey captained the side from 2017 to 2019 and will leave the squad with fond memories of his time at the Rec.
Hanging up his well-worn boots is World Cup winning Springbok and supporter favourite, Francois Louw. The 34-year-old Springbok is one of the longest-serving players in Bath Rugby’s squad, having been with the Club for nine seasons in what has been an incredible domestic and international career. Fittingly, the famous Blue, Black and White shirt will be the last he pulls on as a professional player, after making over 140 appearances for the Club and settling in the City with his young family.
BACKS LEAVING THE CLUB
We also say goodbye to Alex Davies, Aled Brew, Jackson Willison, Tom Homer, Freddie Burns and Levi Davis – as a playing group of backs, we have witnessed some explosive play and tries scored both at the Rec and around the country. We thank Rhys Webb for his contributions to the squad and wish him well in his career at Ospreys.
Chris Cook departs the Blue, Black and White having made 142 appearances for the Club after making his debut senior in 2010. We wish him well as he departs for rivals Bristol Bears to continue his Premiership career.
To all of you, thank you.
