Olly Barkley was the star of the show scoring 21 points including a try, whilst Zak Feaunati and Matt Perry were the other try scorers for the home side.
It is the first time that Bath Rugby have beaten the Tigers since 1999, and John Connolly was pleasewd with his side's resolve in a scrappy win.
"We do some things outstandingly well," explained the Head Coach. "However, we also do other things poorly. We lost a couple of lineouts and lacked some control at the scrums. However, we will not beat ourselves up about it."
Injuries were once again a feature of the game with Tim Brasher (hamstring) and Jamie Williams (thigh) limping out of the game.
"We have some real injuries worries in the backs," said Connolly. "Jamie and Tim will both struggle to be fit for next weekend. Alex Crockett could be back, but we may need to look at bringing someone into the squad."
Bath Rugby have now won more matches this season than they did during the whole of last season.
