Bath quintet involved with England and Barbarians test

27 May 2019

Bath Rugby's Ben Obano, Tom Dunn, Tom Ellis and Elliott Stooke have been called up to Jim Mallinder's England squad who face the Barbarians in the Quilter Cup clash at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday 2 June (KO 3:30pm).

Having returned to action against Leicester Tigers in the final round of the Gallagher Premiership, Francois Louw will feature for the Barbarians as the South African back-row has been named in Pat Lam's side.

Last time out in the Quilter Cup, the Baa-Baas ran riot at Twickenham claiming a huge 45-63 victory, scoring seven tries to claim victory.

The 23 players selected in Mallinder's side will assemble today at the Lensbury Hotel in Teddington for a week-long camp.

Mallinder will be joined by Phil Dowson (Northampton Saints) as forwards coach, Dave Walder (Newcastle) as attack coach and Joe El Abd (Castres Olympique) as defence coach.
