The duo head to the second-tier outfit to continue their development with regular, competitive first-team action.
Atkins is a Bath Rugby Academy graduate who has been at the club since the age of 15 and has 24 club caps to his name to date while Green has made 28 appearances since joining from Yorkshire Carnegie.
“Darren and Max’s loan to Jersey is the perfect next step in their development,” Director of Rugby Stuart Hooper said.
“With there being no Premiership Rugby Cup or Shield competitions, it has been difficult to replicate the match practice they otherwise would have had. The loans will prove to be a valuable life experience and a chance for crucial game time in a senior training environment.
“They both have brilliant attitudes and a great appetite to improve their game. We are hoping their time in the Championship will help them flourish in the years ahead.”
