Bath Rugby are in European Challenge Cup action this Thursday in what will be supporters’ last chance to see the boys in Blue, Black and White before Christmas. For this festive fixture against Cardiff Blues, kick-off 19.45, you can check out our helpful guide to Rec ahead of the game.
The Club Shop on Argyle Street and the Mobile Shop in the Supporters’ Village in the West car park will be fully stocked with scarfs, beanie hats and warm coats amongst other things, so you can make sure you’re kitted up for the cold weather, or finish that Christmas shopping!
Maximus will be roaming around the Rec from 18:45 and during the game so make sure you say hello!
Happy hour is also running between 17.45 and 18.45, where there will be £1 off pints of Bath Ales Gem and Thatchers Gold at all bars. The Great Western Wine bar in the Swift Half will also have selected promotions.
Food and Bars:
The usual concessions will be available, including AC Catering with their fan favourite - the ‘Banahan Wrap’ available. Also on hand to tickle your tastebuds will be Dough Pizza, Cau, Get Battered Fish & Chips, Pieminster and Grillstock BBQ.
Please leave plenty of time when travelling to the Rec as the city centre can be very busy. Supporters are encouraged to use excellent public transport links in Bath where possible, this includes trains from Bath Spa station, a 10 minute walk from the Rec or the Park & Ride service operating from three points on the outskirts of the city.
You can also now also now cycle to the stadium, where free and secure parking spaces for bikes are offered at the Rec just next to Williams Gate.
Tickets are still available for this Anglo-Welsh fixture and prices start from just £20! Plus, with International stars George Ford, Jonathan Joseph, Francois Louw and Taulupe Faletau all in the mix for selection, it’s a Christmas cracker you don’t want to miss out on.
