The battle for the Aviva Premiership play-offs is heating up. Just four points separate Bath Rugby and tomorrow night’s opponents Sale Sharks (kick-off 19.45),so it really is all to play for at the Rec.
Ahead of the game, make sure you’re ready and waiting in the Supporters’ Village by the outfield to create a tunnel of noise and colour for the team as they make their way from the Cricket Pavilion to the Changing Rooms for their final match preparations. Head Coach Mike Ford and Captain Stuart Hooper recently spoke about how much of a boost it is for the team to see all the home supporters with their flags and messages of support, so be sure to make your way over at around 18.40!
At half-time, title sponsor, Dyson will be back with their new pioneering challenge which will see 12 supporters compete in a relay race like no other! The challenge is simple: the team who are quickest to get three rugby balls down the length of the pitch using only vacuum cleaners will win a Dyson DC58 Animal each!
The usual winter warmers will be available around the ground throughout the evening. Soup of the Day is Tomato and Basil, available at all the East Stand bars, and priced at just £2.00 per cup. Or why not try our 'Hot Toddy' offer? Hot water with The Famous Grouse Whisky sweetened with honey will keep you toasty warm throughout the game, and is available from all bars. Pieminister’s Pie of the Match is the ‘Shamrock’ – a delicious combination of British beef steak and Irish stout, costing just £4.50 and is available in the Swift Half only.
Tickets for this game have sold out and the Ticket Office do not expect any returns. The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport, and there will be full game commentary on BBC Radio Bristol.
Please note, the A36 at Claverton is closed for the next three months, so alternative routes in and out of Bath are currently very busy. Please allow extra time when travelling into the city for the game.
