Gallagher Premiership rugby returns to the Rec under the Friday night lights, as Bath Rugby welcome Exeter Chiefs to the West Country. Here's what's in store for supporters...
PARK & RIDE
The Park and Ride are running late buses on Friday too. Last bus departs from the City Centre at 22:30 for each of the following services:
- Newbridge Park & Ride – Service 21
- Lansdown Park & Ride – Service 31
- Odd Down Park & Ride – Service 41
- The direct train to Exeter on Friday night departs Bath at 23:22 from platform 1.
- For any supporters travelling to Chippenham or Swindon: GWR hold the Paddington train that usually departs at 22:03 to a later departure time of 22:10.
- A46 closed from A420 to Gorse Lane carriageway in both directions.
Having been phased in at the end of the 2018/19 season, all Bath Rugby bars and concession stands on the outfield will no longer accept cash payments.
The move to cash free is designed to speed up transactions and reduce queuing times to ensure that supporters have less time away from the game.
The Rec will be able to process all major contactless debit and credit card, with chip and pin applying to all purchases over £30. Bars and food outlets will also accept Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Bath Rugby is working towards being single-use plastic free on a matchday. As part of this commitment, bars and concessions will no longer be selling plastic bottles.
Bath Rugby branded reusable bottles will be sold at every bar at the Rec for £5.
Amongst an array of food outlets at the Rec, there is a new vegan stand ‘Have a pinch,’ so make sure you take advantage of the many options available to you ahead of kick-off. Clifton Sausage also offer a vegan option.
