All Premiership competitions suspended following Government advice on mass gatherings
All Premiership competitions have today been suspended for five weeks as the UK continues to adopt measures to delay the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Premiership Rugby has today confirmed that all Gallagher Premiership matches and secondary competitions will be suspended for the next five weeks.
At this stage, Premiership Rugby have not fixed dates on which the affected matches can be rearranged. Premiership Rugby will continue to work closely with DCMS and Public Health England, and to follow the advice of medical experts and make further clarifications as soon as they are able.
As this unprecedented situation continues to unfold, our main priority must be to protect public health and prevent further spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). As a result, Premiership Rugby and their constituent Clubs have decided competitions must be postponed.

We will continue to keep our supporters informed on Premiership Rugby’s decisions on the continuation of the Gallagher Premiership and secondary competitions.
In light of the uncertainty, we have taken the decision to remove all other Bath Rugby fixtures from sale until the 2019/20 season schedule is able to be confirmed.
Our CEO Tarquin McDonald has this message for all our supporters: “As a Club we are committed to the safety of our supporters, our players and our staff. In light of this unprecedented situation a number of our fixtures will now be postponed in line with the British Government and Premiership Rugby.
“We are continuing to put measures in place to deal with ongoing developments and are in frequent dialogue with Premiership Rugby and our fellow Clubs. We will continue to monitor the situation with the Government, Public Health England and the NHS and respond accordingly.
“Our priority continues to be to protect public health and support in delaying the spread of COVID-19. We want to ensure our city, supporters, players and staff stay safe.
“You will undoubtedly have concerns for yourselves, friends and families at this uncertain time, and we ask you all to put your health and that of others first, following the advice provided by NHS and Public Health England and continue to be vigilant to the ever-changing situation. In the mean time please be patient with us as we confirm further information from Premiership Rugby. We will of course continue to keep you informed.”
RESCHEDULED FIXTURES AND REFUNDS
With all matches affected by this situation due to be rescheduled, matchday tickets and season tickets will be valid for the rearranged game. We are working to ensure there is a robust process in place to handle ticket enquiries for the affected matches. We will provide further clarity as soon as we are in a position to do so regarding the rearrangement of postponed matches, together with information on the refund process if supporters are unable to attend the rearranged game. At this stage please do not contact the ticket office as our small team are working hard to ensure all these processes are in place.
