With another huge game in our season approaching, I wanted to take the opportunity to address you all ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Wasps.
Everyone was naturally disappointed with the result against Bristol, but this week has all been about channelling our focus and making sure that we put our best foot forward on the weekend.
We have addressed elements of our game that we need to work on, but it is also important to take positives away from last weekend, which will be crucial against a strong Wasps side, who have been the form side in the Premiership this year.
We’re looking forward to welcoming another sell-out crowd at the Rec and I cannot emphasise enough how much of a difference your loud support makes. We want the Rec to be an intimidating place for teams to come and play rugby. With Wasps and Brive our next two home fixtures, your support is more important than ever in our push to maintain our place in the top four. The players were talking to me just the other day how electric the atmosphere was against Northampton and it just showed how you can make that difference.
You may have noticed the variation on matchday music in recent weeks and whilst I know it’s not my day job, we really want to try and create an electric atmosphere. I’ve read a lot of comments about matchday and it really shows, like us, how passionate you are about the Club, so let’s join forces and turn the Rec into a fortress this weekend.
We’re all looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday,
