Bath Rugby is looking forward to another Champions Cup campaign in the 2018/19 season. Here is a quick guide to which clubs will be joining the Blue, Black and White in the competition, with the final taking place at St James' Park in Newcastle on Saturday 11th May 2019.
PRO14 – Seven teams
Leinster will be one of the favourites to once again lift the trophy next year after clinching their fourth Champions Cup title in Bilbao a fortnight ago.
Challenge Cup winners Cardiff Blues also qualified alongside Glasgow Warriors, Munster, Scarlets and Edinburgh. Ulster secured the final Champions Cup spot after beating Ospreys in a play-off.
Top 14 – Six teams
Champions Cup runners-up Racing 92 will be looking to go one better next year, and will join Toulon, Montpellier, Toulouse, Lyon and Castres as the French representatives.
Bath fans will happily recall the Blue, Black and White beating three-time winners Toulon at the Rec last season.
Premiership – Seven teams
Bath will be joined by six other Premiership sides in the competition, including two-time Champions Cup winners Saracens.
Exeter, Wasps and Leicester qualified, with the host city of the finals Newcastle also being represented, after the Falcons finished fourth in the league.
Gloucester are in the draw. The Challenge Cup runners-up qualified due to Cardiff and Leinster already progressing through thanks to their league positions.
