Playground to Podium

On Friday 25th November, Playground to Podium is being held at Bath University where 60 young people with hearing, visual and physical disabilities, aged between 7 and 17 years of age will be having great fun, trying out a variety of sports and at the same time promoting what activities are available in the local area. Bath Rugby are kicking off the New Year with a special 'Wine & Dine Rugby Package' for three of our matches in the New Year.  Combining excellent food and a complimentary bar, a Q and A session with a couple of the Bath Rugby players and of course a great match of rugby this is the ultimate Christmas present for any Bath Rugby fan. Sixteen teachers from Warminster Primary schools took part in a hands on teacher training session at Warminster RFC with community coaches from Bath Rugby as part of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme  in the hope that core rugby skills will be transferred to the local schools and eventually unearth the next generation of English talent. On Monday 21st November Ben Skirving joined forces with Aviva at the Warminster area schools tag festival held at Warminster RFC to put local kids through their paces as they continue their education up the rugby ladder. Read more

Statement from Lewis Moody

Due to the coverage in the Times newspaper today, we feel it appropriate to publish Lewis Moody's personal statement in response.  Lewis is a key part of the senior player group at Bath Rugby and continues to make significant contributions on and off the pitch, helping to keep us improving and to create a performance driven, winning culture here at the club. Bath Rugby invites you and your families to join us on the 4th December at 4pm in the Bath Pavilion for our annual panto, Jack and the Beanstalk.  Tickets are £10 and we are offering a 10% discount for groups of 6 people so come along to one of the highlights of the Bath Rugby social calendar!Last year Matt Banahan, Lee Mears and Nick Abendanon were amongst some of the Bath Rugby stars to become pantomime dames for an afternoon, with some taking to it remarkably easily!Father Christmas will be making a special appearance to meet all our young supporters, and who knows, he may have a sack full of presents to hand out!Doors will open at 3:15 with the performance starting at 4pm.  The show will last for 2 hours with a 15 minute interval.
