Bath Rugby coach the Aviva Tag Rugby Schools programme at Beckington Primary School“Stand Up, sit down,” I heard a voice shouting.  “Roll over, turn around,” it was Bath Rugby’s Community coach, Steve Middleton who was giving a warm up session to the children at Beckington Primary School.  This was the first of six sessions where Steve will be teaching the children the game of tag rugby. In the first three sessions the children are taught the rules, then by the fifth week they are beginning to develop their team skills and by the sixth week they are ready for a  challenge at the Festival. Driving grassroots rugby at the Bath Rugby Land Rover Premiership Rugby CupThis season will mark the fourth year that Bath Rugby have run the Land Rover Premiership Rugby cup and following on from successful events at Walcot RFC, Chippenham RFC and Bradford on Avon RFC we are pleased to be able to announce Old Redcliffians RFC as this years hosts. New Season, New Website

Bath Rugby Girls’ Development has been running since 2002, with an aim to offer regular rugby coaching to girls aged 11 – 18 in the BaNES and Wiltshire area. Sessions are free and open to all girls aged 11-18, no experience necessary.  Coaching is delivered to suit the ability of the player with tag / tag plus and contact on offer.  The centralised sessions are developed to assist local rugby clubs by signposting new players, networking and increasing opportunities for players to train with numbers.
