Bath Rugby came close to turning over Heineken Cup champions Leinster this afternoon, in a passionate and dedicated display at the Recreation Ground, but a try from Matt Banahan and eight points from Olly Barkley were not enough to clinch victory in a hard fought contest. Read more 

The new ticket office is now open at Number 8 Pulteney Bridge, next to the Bath Rugby Shop, opening from 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, until the New Year and 9:15 until 5:30pm from the 3rd January. Read more

On the 4th December– Premiership Rugby sponsors Aviva and Bath Rugby hosted an Aviva Premiership Rugby transition day with local schoolchildren at Warminster RFC. Read more 

During half time at the Bath Rugby v Sale Sharks match at the Recreation Ground last weekend, four Warminster schools put on a fantastic half time tag display.  The schools New Close Primary, St John’s Primary, Sambourne Primary and Heytesbury Primary all took part in the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme and put on an exciting display that had the crowd cheering an on their feet. There was also a big surprise for the schools when Bath Rugby asked them all to be the guard of honour for the match, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. The Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme is an initiative aimed at introducing over 36,000 young people to the sport through Tag Rugby.  The scheme is run by Premiership Rugby along with the 12 Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs and is expected to involve 600 primary schools, with 1,200 teachers also receiving training. Christmas with the Coaches

On Monday 19th December Bath Rugby are bringing you Christmas with the Coaches – a fantastic evening combining an insight into the season so far with the Bath Rugby coaches.  The evening will also offer you the chance to celebrate the festive season over a meal with fellow supporters with a game of rugby thrown in for good measure!Bath United will be taking on local rivals Gloucester United in our Rugby Mondays A League and, for just £20 a head you can make the game extra special by joining us in the Illustrious Suite for some festive hospitality. Despite tries from Nick Scott and George Drury, and two conversions from Paul Roberts, Bath United were unable to overcome a strong Saracens Storm side last night at Old Albanians, as they were defeated 31-14. Read more
