Monday night is the new Friday night down at the Rec as Bath United do battle for honours in the Southern Conference, and all are welcome as standard entry to all United games is free. Our first home match may not be until the end of October, when we take on Exeter United on the 31st, but bookings for our informal hospitality packages are already being taken. Your chance to prove you are more passionate than Gloucester fans!This season, league sponsor Aviva is partnering with the University of Bath to scientifically prove which Aviva Premiership club has the league's most passionate rugby fans, and settle the debate once and for all!The research team will visit six Aviva Premiership matches during the season to collect psychological and physiological data from a section of supporters: measuring their heart rate, noise, anxiety and testosterone levels during the match.  And the research team kick off the season at the Gloucester v Bath match on Saturday 24th September. Bath Rugby coach the Aviva Tag Rugby Schools programme at Beckington Primary School“Stand Up, sit down,” I heard a voice shouting.  “Roll over, turn around,” it was Bath Rugby’s Community coach, Steve Middleton who was giving a warm up session to the children at Beckington Primary School.  This was the first of six sessions where Steve will be teaching the children the game of tag rugby. In the first three sessions the children are taught the rules, then by the fifth week they are beginning to develop their team skills and by the sixth week they are ready for a  challenge at the Festival.
