The Big Screen is here

As many of you may now have noticed the Big Screen has been installed at the Rec in the corner of the Novia Stand and the Thatchers Terrace.  This is the latest step Bath Rugby have taken in investing in the infrastructure of the Rec to enhance our supporters experience on a match day; including creating better use of space under the East stand to increase toilet provision, new PA system and the refurbishing of elements of the clubhouse. Fly-half Stephen Donald has been named on the bench for the Rugby World Cup final against France on Sunday 23rd October, kick-off 9am (UK time). Read more 

Following on from an emphatic 16 – 46 win at Rodney Parade against Newport Gwent Dragons last weekend, Bath Rugby return to the Rec this Saturday to face Worcester Warriors in the LV= Cup, kick off 2:15pm. Read more

Away Days with Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby have put together a couple of away packages for our supporters to enjoy, the first being a hospitality package at the Madejski Stadium with guest host, Matt Perry, and the second a flight package for just £75 up to Glasgow for our Heineken Cup Challenge. Read more 

Away from the rugby pitch, Tom Biggs is currently learning to be a personal trainer, so BRtv sat in on a lesson to discover how the flying winger is finding life being back in the classroom... Read more 

St Barnabas in Devizes are an Associate School of the Bath Rugby Foundation, which means they are working with the Foundation to inspire young children in a number of their school subjects.  Last term they did Tackling Numbers, which was delivered by Vicky Heslop, Foundation Education Manager, and Jimmy Deane, Foundation Manager.  This involved an hour of maths, which was rugby themed in the classroom, and then they enjoyed an hour of tag rugby outside, which also had maths thrown in!The second project of this association began last Tuesday when two classes totalling 60 children, visited the Recreation Ground for four hours.  Each group spent two hours doing a tour of the ground;  this included viewing the changing rooms, looking at trophies in the clubhouse and visiting the IPL stand. Bath Rugby scored seven tries in their opening fixture of the LV= Cup at Rodney Parade, to secure a bonus point 16-46 victory over Newport Gwent Dragons. Bath scored their first within just two minutes of the start, with debutant Olly Woodburn the scorer. Read more
