7s Final Preview from the Centurions Club

3 August 2012

After a well-earned summer break, Bath Rugby Centurions Club Match Reporter Ben Da Costa is back to report on all things Bath Rugby on behalf of our Junior Members. First off, Ben previews tonight's JP Morgan 7s Series Final at the Rec.

With the boys well into pre-season, the blue, black and white have a chance to win the first silverware of the season with home advantage on Friday night in the JP Morgan 7's Final.

After qualifying 2nd last Thursday at Kingsholm, beating Worcester 35 - 12 and Exeter 19 – 12 only losing to arch rivals Gloucester 24 - 17 the boys will look to show off their 7's flair in front of a packed Recreation Ground.

Just some of the danger men to look out for during the Fridays' finals are; Speedsters Tom Biggs and Olly Woodburn, Big-Hitters Matt Banahan and Will Skuse and Tackle Demons Chris Cook and Guy Mercer.

This will be the first chance for all the supporters to see the squad in action at the Rec and after a great outing at Kingsholm last week let's cheer the boys as they aim to start the 2012/13 season with a bang.

I hope to see plenty of you young Centurions coming to support the boys on an action evening of high quality 7's rugby.

One to watch:

Will Skuse - Look out for giant Will making huge tackles all around the pitch, a hot prospect for the future at 15's and 7's. Make sure to give him and the rest of the lads a cheer on Friday night.
