150th anniversary Captain's Run BBQ menu revealed

A delicious menu awaits for guests at our 150th anniversary Captain's Run BBQ on Saturday 12th September.

All taste buds are sure to be catered for, with prime British Beef Burgers accompanied by Tomato Salsa Relish and Red Pepper, Ginger and Soy Chicken Breasts with Spring Onion and Mango Salsa, Spanish style Paella with Prawns, Chicken and Chorizo and traditional Hog Roasts served in floury baps all being served up for your culinary pleasure.

A variety of salads will also be on offer, while our dessert of Fresh Cream Chocolate Choux Buns will appeal to those with a sweeter tooth. Vegetarian options will also be available.

Set in the unique, picturesque grounds of Farleigh House, from 17.00 you will be able to watch the Bath Rugby squad go through their final preparations for the West Country Challenge Cup game against Gloucester.

You will receive a glimpse into all the hard work the players put in week after week during the season with a guided behind-the-scenes tour of the stunning Farleigh House training facilities.

From 18.30, dinner will be served, with members of the Bath Rugby squad joining you for a catch-up on the season ahead.

Two of the game's most beloved characters – our very own Gareth Chilcott and David Trick - will then be on hand to reminisce and entertain you with some of the best stories from the world of rugby, as well as talk all things Bath Rugby.
