A unique 150th anniversary Afternoon Tea this afternoon at Farleigh House saw players past and present go head to head in a baking competition like no other.
Mentored by national treasure Mary Berry and judged by renowned French chef Richard Bertinet, the three teams consisted of Lee Mears and Matt Banahan, Chris Cook and Duncan Bell, and Stuart Hooper and John Hall.
The locker room hijinks clearly spilled over into the wonderful marquee in the grounds of Farleigh House, with spoons and jam just two items used to sabotage rival teams' efforts.
The fantastic afternoon, hosted by David Flatman, saw Mears and Banahan pronounced overall winners.
Special thanks go to Kitchens Cookshop in Bath for sponsoring the event.
