Welcome to The Rec, Bath Rugby's home since 1894. We're just five minutes' walk from the Roman Baths, and within an easy stroll of car parks, the train station and Park & Ride drop off points.

Arriving On Foot

One way or another we all finish the journey to The Rec on foot. The stadium is set on the banks of The River Avon, which runs through the heart of the city.

It's an easy stroll from numerous city car parks, Park & Ride drop-off points, the train station and the town centre.

Travelling To BAth BY CAR

Park and Ride - Every 15 minutes

Bath offers Park & Ride services to the North, West and South of the city. Buses run at least every 15 minutes, 7 days a week (excl. Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday.)

Each of the locations is just a 10 minute ride from the centre of Bath, and all are wheelchair and pushchair friendly.

TRAVELLING TO BATH BY TRAIN

The Bath Spa railway station is operated by First Great Western. There are regular direct services from:

  • London Paddington (around 90 mins)
  • London Waterloo (around 90 mins)
  • Bristol Temple Meads  (15 mins)

Once you reach the station The Rec is a five minute walk. Just follow the other Blue, Black and White shirts.

Travelling to Bath by Bus

Bath Rugby has teamed up with local coach firm Centurion Travel to offer supporters easy, hassle-free transport to and from the Recreation Ground on home matchdays.

Local buses are operated by First Group, and the bus station is just a few minutes walk from The Rec.
