Joining Bath Rugby in sad circumstances from Worcester Warriors, the blindside flanker - along with former Sixways teammates Ollie Lawrence, Fergus Lee-Warner and Valeriy Morozov – has contributed immensely to the Blue, Black and White.

His performances earned him the Best Forward award while there have been BT Sport Player of the Match awards aplenty too.

The latest came in the 61-29 final round win over Saracens in the Gallagher Premiership which helped earn Johann van Graan’s men a place in the Heineken Champions Cup next season.

It was the fourth win in a row for Bath and Hill pointed out why the club is moving in the right direction along with its fantastic supporters.

He said: “We knew this game was a massive one for us; we knew what was at stake. We came out in the second half and put a performance in to be proud of.

“The club has been through some difficult times and there’s been a change in mindset about where we can go.

“We know the potential of this group; we have great players, great coaches and great support staff and I think there’s a belief in our systems and ourselves.

“I’m just so happy for an opportunity and we’re so grateful to play in front of the fans at The Rec.”
