Six Bath Rugby Academy players have been in camp with England Under-18s over the past week.

James Short, Henry Bartlett, Jack Bennett, Ieuan Davies, George Timmins and Connor Treacey were all included in the development squad. Billy Sela was also selected but had to withdraw due to injury.

The players took part in two training sessions and a gym session over a two-day period.

Head of Academy Craig Lilley said: "This is the final camp that will take place this year.

England Under-18s will meet up again in February following the U18 Academy League fixtures.

“The next camp will be held at Bisham Abbey across four days before two standalone fixtures against France and Wales. The U18 Six Nations Festival will then commence in Ireland.”

After two games in August and September, Bath Rugby Under-18s will take on Exeter Chiefs over the weekend of the 6 January before a second match on the road against London Irish.

Harlequins visit Bath the weekend of 20 January ahead of a final outing with Gloucester in February.

Finals Day will take place on Sunday 19 February.
