The visitors went into an early lead after 11 minutes, with second-row Jonathan Kpoku crossing for the opening try of the afternoon. A successful conversion from Charlie Watson put Saracens in the driving seat. 0-7

Mid-way through the half, fullback Tom de Glanville reduced arrears with a penalty before Saracens hit back with a second try 90 seconds later. It was hooker Sam Crean, who crossed the whitewash to put his side in control at the interval.

Bath were out of the blocks quickly in the second-half, with Oran McNulty continuing his recent run of form with an early try. A conversion from de Glanville made it a two-point game with over half an hour to play at Melksham RFC. 10-12

Saracens gave themselves a little breathing space with 44 minutes on the clock, as Watson converted his own try to re-establish their seven-point advantage. It got even better for Saracens, with a score from replacement Oliver Bluck, who gave his side an unassailable lead.

There was just time for Saracens to score a fifth of the afternoon, and it was Kapeli Pifeleti who ensured an impressive victory for the London club.
