Read earned his senior debut for the Blue, Black and White this season, coming off the bench in the Premiership Rugby Cup against London Irish.

After experiencing life on loan at Championship outfit Coventry and National League 1 side Taunton Titans, the 21-year-old heads for an exciting new opportunity in New Zealand.

Another to have featured for Taunton this term, Venter joined Bath in December 2021 and debuted against Bristol Bears in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

The abrasive centre made a further three outings for the club this season, all in the cup.

Everyone at Bath Rugby would like to thank Frankie and Jordan for their efforts during their time at the club and wish them the best of luck for the future.

“Frankie and Jordan are good people. It has been a pleasure for us to have them as part of our group,” Head of Rugby Johann van Graan said.

“They are ambitious and determined individuals who have bright futures ahead of them. We wish them well and look forward to seeing what is next for them.”
