Since the announcement of new travel measures between the UK and France – which are being introduced from Saturday morning – EPCR, Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) and the French government have held discussions on the impact of the Round 2 matches.

EPCR sought exemptions from the measures for UK clubs travelling into France, and for French clubs travelling into the UK. Exemptions have not yet been granted and whilst there remains uncertainty, the EPCR Board has made the decision to postpone all UK v French club matches in the UK or France on Saturday and Sunday.

The club will work with EPCR and Stade Rochelais to reschedule the match. A new date will be communicated in due course.

Supporters who have purchased tickets for the match will be automatically refunded the price of their ticket and booking fee. An email will be sent to all ticket purchasers with information to buy tickets for the rearranged match once a date has been confirmed.

Season Ticket Holders will retain their ticket for the rescheduled fixture. Once the rearranged date has been confirmed, Season Tickets Holders who are unable to attend will be provided information to claim a credit on their account. If the fixture is cancelled at a later date, Season Ticket Holders will have the credit automatically applied.

We encourage supporters not to call our Supporter Services regarding this fixture as our small team will not be able to manage this unexpected demand. We will communicate more information at the earliest opportunity, but we look forward to welcoming the Stade Rochelais team to the Rec at a time in the near future.
