Francois Hougaard

South Africa international Francois Hougaard moved to Worcester Warriors from South African side Blue Bulls in February 2016, initially until the end of the season.

The scrum-half enjoyed an emphatic start to life at Worcester. After joining a Warriors side that found itself just two points off the bottom of the table, Hougaard inspired his side to five wins in his first six games before signing a permanent deal with the Club.

Hougaard illustrates a big-game mentality and will return to action this weekend following a foot injury sustained in Warriors’ defeat to Northampton Saints back in October, which the scrum-half has been struggling with since the turn of the year.

The 31-year-old will be looking to put in a run of games and is a threat to the Blue, Black and White defensive line with a sharp approach to his play.

Ollie Lawrence

Ollie Lawrence burst onto the Warriors scene in November 2017 after graduating through the Worcester Academy, and scored a try on his first-team debut against Sale Sharks in the Anglo-Welsh Cup at Sixways.

The 21-year-old continues to impress in the senior side scoring a first-half hat-trick in just ten minutes against Russian side Enisei-STM in the European Challenge Cup in January 2020.

The powerful centre is a threat with his quick footwork and crash ball ability. Lawrence has made a name for himself in the senior set-up and has been a talking point for the national side.

Duncan Weir

Scotland international Duncan Weir made his switch to the Gallagher Premiership in the summer of 2018 after joining from Edinburgh Rugby.

Weir has proved to be an influential play-maker and accurate kicker at Sixways who scored 250 points in his first season at Worcester.

The fly-half has a wealth of top-level experience, having played 27 times for his country and including two appearances at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The 28-year-old is a technical and tactical threat with a raw ability to lead his attacking line and will punish any team from the tee, if given the opportunity.
