The loosehead prop originally re-joined the Blue, Black and White on a short-term injury cover loan but will remain part of Johann van Graan’s squad, strengthening the club’s front row options.

Morozov spent time at The Rec last season, making his debut in the Heineken Champions Cup against Stade Rochelais.

He made a significant impact in the scrum during his 13 appearances and provided a strong ball carrying option.

Previous to his first spell with Bath and recent spell at Worcester Warriors, the Russia international earned 28 caps and won the Premiership Rugby Cup with Sale Sharks.

“Valeriy is an excellent scrummager and is a good ball-carrying option,” Head of Rugby van Graan said.

“Since returning to Bath, he has settled in well and we are pleased to have him with us.”
