Ollie Lawrence and Tom Dunn have been named on a 14-man shortlist for the October award.

Centre Lawrence joined Bath at the beginning of the month and featured in three games, making a significant contribution in all of them. He particularly caught the eye in the away match against Saracens due to his silky running and two assists.

Dunn, who has captained the Blue, Black and White since the end of September in the absence of Ben Spencer, has been instrumental up front and scored twice in four games.
