Stuart Hooper’s side will be looking at making it three successive wins in succession tomorrow evening after triumphing over London Irish at the Rec at the restart of the season and Saturday’s convincing win over Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.

On the Leicester Tigers result, Judge said: “It was a good result. Obviously the main aim first and foremost was to go away and get the win, so to go away and get the five points is positive. We were honest with ourselves afterwards.

“We thought we were good in patches but there is still plenty to improve on. It’s a positive result, we were really happy with it but there are still a lot of things we want to work on moving forward.”

With the intense velocity of games in the Gallagher Premiership, Judge is relishing the chance to play against another side battling for a play-off berth come the end of the campaign.

He continued: “Of course, it’s going to be a new challenge because it is such a quick turnaround, but we are really looking forward to it.

“We are neck and neck in the table, and it is all to play for where we are sat at the moment. It is a great opportunity to go up there and I’m sure it will be a good game.

“As we look forward to the next few games coming up, we have an opportunity. Every game is huge, and we are really looking forward to the game against Northampton.”

Bringing an apparent attacking threat and with a real sense of a Super Rugby-esque style of play, Saints Director of Rugby Chris Boyd has brought pizzazz and rigour to the Northampton attacking style of play.

Judge added: “As we have seen throughout this season and years gone by, they love to play, they have great ball carriers across the park, and it’s just about being prepared for that. We know they are there to play rugby and it’s our job to stop them. We just need to impose ourselves on the game.

“Throughout the entire matchday 23 they have lots of danger. They have big ball carriers like Taqele Naiyaravoro, and they have talent in the pack with the likes of Lewis Ludlam, so they are a great team throughout. We’re looking forward to it.”
