Losing 40-24 in the first Test, Jack Bennett of Bradford on Avon RFC and Monkton Combe School scored a fantastic try on his debut, with prop Billy Sela (Royal Wootton Bassett RFC and Beechen Cliff School) crossing the whitewash twice in the win over South Africa A.

Walcot RFC and Beechen Cliff School’s Raff Weston earned his first start in the second match while all three making an appearance in the third outing.

South Africa edged the contest 44-41 but Bennett was once again on the scoresheet. Playing at Number 8, he sold an excellent dummy to open the scoring for England in the ninth minute.

The trio will return to Bath Rugby and will prepare for the Under-18s Academy League which restarts in January 2023 after two rounds in August.
