After dedicating our Round 17 Gallagher Premiership fixture against London Irish to highlight the work of our charitable arm, Bath Rugby Foundation, our biggest partner has also come on board to make the day a huge occasion for everyone involved.

One in five children in Bath live in on the poverty line, and we are working with Bath Rugby Foundation to raise awareness of striking statistics like this and to achieve the Foundation's aim of giving every child in our city an equal chance to succeed in life.

Each year, Bath Rugby Foundation helps between 3,000 and 4,000 children in Bath and the surrounding areas. Its mission is to empower young people and bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.

Bath Rugby Foundation Chief Executive, Lynne Fernquest, said: “We are grateful Dyson has sponsored our Foundation Day.

"It enables us to harness the collective potential of Bath Rugby, Bath Rugby Foundation, Bath Rugby supporters and Dyson to highlight the challenges faced by more than 10,000 young people in and around our city, and commit to working together to change their lives. We don’t need Governments to change or policies to change, we can be the change.”
