After a hugely successful 2021 tournament, where Devizes RFC Under-14 boys and Walcats Under-15 girls were crowned Champions, the series is back and continues to grow in stature as an inclusive grassroots competition.

The 2022 tournament has been adapted to accommodate CB calendar events and will now focus on Under-13s girls teams as well as Under-14s boys teams. Furthermore, we are excited to announce we will be playing XRugby7s, this is to allow the final to be played outside the RFU Age Grade Window. XRugby7s is a 7-a-side full contact game, played on half a standard pitch. It includes new features such as the ‘Max Zone’ (extra points for scoring in the middle of the pitch). Reinforcing the tournament’s commitment to provide playing opportunities across the catchment area, this year’s event will see the preliminary stages held at three community clubs: Royal Wootton Bassett RFC, North Dorset RFC for U14 Boys and Warminster RFC for U13 Girls. Preliminary rounds will determine the four qualifying teams who will progress to the Finals day on Sunday 22 May at the Rec. This provides all aspiring Rugby players with the opportunity to play on the Rec in front of their teammates, family and friends.
