Bath Rugby today welcomes news from the Professional Game Board in which clubs have been given provisional authorisation to move to Stage 2 return to men's professional rugby union training in England where small groups and/or teams will be able to interact in much closer contact including the sharing of equipment where necessary.

As with Stage 1 return, the Club is now required to satisfy a number of minimum operating standards and work in this area continues to be advanced allowing the delivery of a safe and secure environment for players and staff at Farleigh House.

The proposed return to Stage 2 will allow the Club to resume close contract training in groups which is crucial to maximise the readiness of its players for a return to competition in August.

The Club continues to share and discuss each development with players and staff and their welfare remains firmly at the heart of all decisions being made.
