He said: “The boys are flying. It is our quarter-final, so we are going to head down to Saracens to go and pick up the win. It is in no one else’s hands but our own so hopefully we can win and achieve a play-off spot on Sunday.

“We are focussing on ourselves. At the end of the day you are going to want to die for five points so we will be looking to get stuck in there.

“We aren’t too worried about what they are bringing or who’s in their side. We are just going down there to do our own thing and go get the win we need.”

“I have 100% belief in the team and the side that will go there to do the job.”

Bath Rugby have won seven out of the eight games played since rugby’s restart on 15^th August having turned their own fortunes of achieving a place in the Premiership’s top four. With it coming down to the final round Boyce said: “I have 100% believe in the team and the side that will go there to do the job.”

The last time Bath Rugby faced Saracens 10 months ago in Round 5 the side suffered a 25-12 defeat at home. The Blue, Black and White had 54% of possession and 56% of territory during the game but failed to transfer that into points.

Boyce believes the side will focus on their own game plan and try to execute their structures during the game without focussing on the occasion and what’s at stake.

He continued: “Emotions will be running high for them. They aren’t Champions of the Gallagher Premiership and the Champions Cup for no reason.

“They are one hell of a side but from what we have here at Bath Rugby and how we have been training, I think we can go there and do what we need to do.

“It all depends on the weather. Hopefully it is dry but I’m sure it will end up being wet. For us we have just got to watch the ball in our hands if it is wet. We will tighten up a little bit but overall to just stick to our own game plan and try and execute it.

“They have got a good pack. Up front they try to bully teams but Like I say, we aren’t stressed about that. We are just going to stick to our own game plan.”
