Heading east, Head Coach Maria Crowfoot has named a 13-player squad to take to Surrey on Saturday.

After suffering numerous injuries before the team went into their first tournament, the squad is bolstered by successful fitness tests.

Making an impression and earning the Pol Roger Player of the Tournament last weekend, Kyara Martin retains her spot in the team, alongside the likes of Mairéad McErlean, Bethanie Wilson and Bethan Wakefield.

Also retaining their places are scrum-half Sofia Mazzone, and utility backs Meg Griffiths and Bethan Thomas.

Available for selection this weekend, and getting their Bath Rugby debuts are Wales U18 7s player Nell Powell, Bristol Bears Centre of Excellence's Sophie Cowey and ex-Loughborough Lightning's Chloe Williams.

Ellie Lewis brings a wealth of rugby experience to the team, alongside fellow Bath Rugby Ladies player, Emily Codd.

Another utility back in the form of Lucy Tanner will offer Bath Rugby options in the back line.

Kim Thurlow, who scored last week again Wild Dogs, has been named as a travelling reserve in the instance of injury.

Finding themselves in Pool B for Farnham Super Sevens, the Blue, Black and White will face Hammerheads, Wooden Spoon and last week's opponent, Akuma Beavers.

Looking to build on some good performances from their first run-out, the team have focused their training on improving what they did well last week at EggChaser 7s and eliminating small errors.

Of the upcoming tournament, Crowfoot said: "We're really excited to be on the Super 7s circuit again this year. For some of the players, it'll be their first run out at an elite tournament, so we're just going to go out there and enjoy it.

"We have more players available for selection this week which will improve our strength in depth, and help with tired legs as the tournament enters the later stages.

"Pool B has some tough opponents but we're ready to take them on and give it our all."
