The Blue, Black and Whites head to Leinster to kick-start their European campaign on Saturday 11 December and will don a Macron fashion-inspired jersey which supporters can wear for all occasions.

The shirt in an elegant anthracite grey colour with a melange effect and blue, black and white details along the sleeves. On the sides, there are two bands in a darker shade of grey, the same colour used for the edges of the neckline. The backneck is customised with the Bath Rugby colours and logo.

The Macron Hero features on the right chest, in white, while on the left side is the club crest. The player shorts are charcoal grey with blue, black and white side stripes, paired with anthracite grey socks.

The first team garments use Armevo and Bodytex fabric to ensure maximum strength and comfort on the pitch.

Leinster

The five-time European Champions are in a rich vein of form and currently top theUnited Rugby Championship table following on from their stellar triumphs in the 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 campaigns. Their squad is stacked with Irish stars including Leinster and Ireland captain, as well as the province’s all-time leading points scorer, Johnny Sexton. The fly-half is one of several full internationals playing for the side, with 12 Leinster players named in the Ireland starting XV for their opening game win of the Autumn Internationals series against Japan.

LA ROCHELLE

Losing finalists in last year’s Heineken Champions Cup, La Rochelle might possess less historic European pedigree than Leinster but that didn’t stop them from knocking out the Irish side en route to the competition’s showpiece. Last year’s Top 14 finalists have continued their strong form domestically, finding themselves in third in the French league. Irish rugby legend Ronan O’Gara has been overseeing strong development of a side that always looks to keep the ball alive and play attacking rugby.
