For a second year, members of the Armed Forces have been invited to attend The Clash on Saturday 7th April 2018, when Bath Rugby take on their fiercest rivals Leicester Tigers at Twickenham Stadium. Last season, over 61,000 supporters enjoyed an epic family day out at The Clash, creating an atmosphere that carried the Blue, Black and White to a 27-21 victory.

Many troops who benefit from Tickets For Troops endure long periods of separation from their families due to operational tours and training exercises or living apart from their families during the week.

“We’re very excited to be staging The Clash again in April,” commented Bath Rugby’s Managing Director, Tarquin McDonald. “The inaugural event in 2017 was a fantastic day out for everyone, an unbelievable atmosphere, and at its core was a brilliant game of rugby and a thrilling win over Tigers. This season’s event is going to be even better, and we’re looking forward to enjoying another unforgettable day with supporters and new-comers to the sport alike.”

The charity has distributed over 1,000,000 free tickets in the last eight years and is proud to offer tickets to troops which they can share with their loved ones, as a small acknowledgement and reward for the work they do for our country.
